|WHAT WE DO|
We help older adults stay engaged socially by offering many opportunities to get together with friends and neighbors. These events might include dinners, lecture series, outings, and more.
Some of the services provided by Palisades Village volunteers include transportation to medical appointments, help with shopping, pharmacy pickups, household and yard chores, and friendly visits at home. We also provide references for tradespeople and services such as electricians, plumbers and carpenters.
We organize special events to strengthen our community and raise funds to meet our financial needs.
"I wouldn't know my neighbors if it wasn't for volunteering at Palisades Village. Now my neighborhood really does feel like home." Elaine
