Our Neighborhood, Our Stories
Every neighborhood holds stories — the places we remember, the people we have known, the changes we have witnessed, and the moments that have made a place feel like home.
Join Story Tapestries artist and storyteller Sarah Brady for an interactive workshop exploring the memories, relationships, and stories connected to your neighborhood. Through storytelling, conversation, and creative writing, participants will have opportunities to remember, listen, share, and create together. No writing or storytelling experience is needed.
This program is part of a Washington Home-supported arts initiative for older adults in Ward 3, creating opportunities to stay connected, engaged, and active in the community as they age. Story Tapestries is partnering with organizations across Washington, DC, to bring people together through creative experiences that strengthen connection and reduce isolation.
