Join Janet and Anne for a fun and supportive practice trip riding the bus up to Tenleytown! This hands-on outing is a great opportunity to build confidence using public transportation, learn helpful tips for navigating the bus system, and explore ways to get around the city independently. Whether you’re new to riding the bus or just looking for a refresher, come enjoy good company while practicing together in a relaxed and encouraging environment.

We will meet at the office and walk to the bus stop together. From there, we’ll ride the bus to Tenleytown, enjoy lunch at a restaurant we choose as a group, and then take the bus back.

If you have a Senior SmarTrip card, your fare will be discounted to half the regular price. If you do not yet have one, you can still ride by paying with cash or by using “tap to pay” with a credit card. Senior SmarTrip cards are available at any Montgomery County Public Library.
