Anticipating the July release of her new book, Psychedelics and the Counterculture of Aging, author Abbie Rosner will share with Village members insights on the emerging trend of older adults exploring psychedelics. Safety, legal and policy issues will be covered, as well as stories of older psychonauts discovering that elderhood can be lived with authenticity, meaning and joy. 

Abbie Rosner is a DC native and writer interested in how her generation of baby boomers is discovering - and rediscovering - the drugs of their youth in ways that enhance their experience of aging. Her work has been published in Forbes.com, Next Avenue and Double Blind magazine, among others.
