Palisades neighbors are once again coming together for Palisades + Pride, a community-wide celebration of our LGBTQ+ neighbors and a reaffirmation that the Palisades is a welcoming, inclusive place for all. Led by the Palisades Community Association and Palisades Village, alongside LGBTQ+ neighbors and allies, this year’s initiative will feature activities and opportunities for connection throughout the season.

A highlight of the celebration will be the Pride Street Party, bringing neighbors together for an evening of music, refreshments, and community spirit.

The party will feature DJ Ricky Ricardo, dancing, friendship bracelet-making, face painting, book giveaways, rainbow popsicles, cotton candy,  Millie’s food truck and more.

New this year: Drag performer Tara Hoot, whose joy-filled drag journey started in 2020 as a way to bring some light to tough times. Tara Hoot's version of drag is campy and kind, and her fabulous family events are perfect for everyone! Tara Hoot uses her powers to make positive change and remind everyone that they are strong, brave, and GORGEOUS! Get your Palisades Pride sign at the Sunday farmer’s market or help yourself to a sign from the porch at 5738 Sherier. The signs are thanks to the Palisades Community Fund.
