Palisades Village invites the community to a presentation on May 19th at the HUB at 7 p.m. on "The 7 Wonders of the Palisades." Joel Achenbach, a retired Washington Post reporter, along with his wife Mary Stapp and residents Doug Dupin, Lauri Menditto, Eliza McGraw and Lynda Cokinos, have produced a list of remarkable features of the Palisades neighborhood, some of which may be easily overlooked. There are so many interesting places here that the 7 Wonders had to be expanded to 11! Joel wrote about the Wonders for The Conduit and will give a slide show. Audience participation is encouraged. The talk will be followed by a wine and cheese reception. Free and open to all!
