Who we are...

Palisades Village is a community of members, volunteers, and supporters focused on helping older adults age well while living independently. Our Village provides inter-generational opportunities to socialize, learn, exercise, volunteer, and enjoy life while building a strong community in the Berkley, Foxhall, Kent, Palisades, Spring Valley, and Wesley Heights neighborhoods of Washington, D.C.

  • Health, wellness, and fitness activities including fitness classes

  • Home-based volunteer supported services: transportation, light housekeeping, grocery shopping, minor household repairs, technical support and friendly visitors

  • Referrals to service providers that can include gardeners, painters, attorneys, accountants, and personal care attendants, cultural, social, and educational events and gatherings
