This program is designed to identify areas where you believe mindfulness might benefit you, and support you in developing a personal mindfulness plan. This program is designed for beginners as well as those already familiar with mindfulness.
The Workshop will include:
The Why and What of Mindfulness — Learn what mindfulness is and why a mindfulness practice might benefit you. You will identify where mindfulness could be helpful in your own life.
The How of Mindfulness Practice — Learn about several different kinds of mindfulness practice and their applications. The practices will be linked to areas of your life that would benefit from mindfulness. We will complete several short introductory mindfulness practices.
Creating a Mindful Awareness Practice Plan — Choose an area of your life where you would like to bring more mindfulness and create a plan for why, how, and when you will practice mindfulness. Discover various support resources.
As a mindfulness facilitator, Roseanna Stanton takes a secular approach to mindfulness. The workshop is based on a growing body of scientific research demonstrating the benefits of mindfulness.
