News From Our NeighborhoodsMembers Choose Board, OfficersMembers met December 15 for annual Palisades Village elections. Phil Potter of Palisades and Charles Lanman of Foxhall Village became the newest members of the board. Incumbents George Farr, Andy Mollison, Judy Rosenfeld, and Ben Rowland were re-elected. They all will serve two-year terms that start January 1, 2012. Other board members, whose terms extend until December 31, 2012, are Jody McPherson, Arne Paulson, Jo Anne Stracke, Arthur Watson, and Judith Watson. Members also elected officers for one-year terms that start January 1, 2012. The officers will be Andy Mollison, president; Janet Bullinger, vice president; Mary Jo (Jody) McPherson, secretary and assistant treasurer, and Jo Ann Stracke, treasurer.
PV Board meets Thursday, Jan. 19PV Board meetings start at 7 PM in the Palisades Neighborhood Library, 4901 V St NW, at V and 49th NW. The next meeting will be Thursday January 19. The public is welcome to participate, but only Board members may vote.
